Importance of Cooking

Cooking food properly helps to avoid food poisoning and cooking is the art, technlogy, science and craft of preparing food for consumption. The precise origins of cooking are unknown, but in the distant past, people after conquered the fire they started using it to prepare food. In most traditional societies, the task of daily food preparation fell primarly to women though men and women were  involved in food procurement.

Why we should cook the food before eating ?

Cooking food properly helps to avoid food poisoning. Most raw foods feature food-borne pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, parasites and viruses that can seriously harm and kill a human being. Cooking ensures that all the micro-organisms are destroyed, which make food safe for human consumption.

It is very difficult to eat raw meat so by cooking it is very to chew and digest the meat . Cooking brings about chemical changes in food. The texture and taste is changed when food is cooked. Baking powder contains Sodium Hydrogencarbonate. this breakdowns when heated, releases carbondioxide that helps cake mixtures to raise during baking.
